Academics
A curriculum built around understanding, not memorisation.
Thirty-two subjects, three senior pathways and a three-term calendar. We are currently in Second Term of the 2025/2026 session.
Structure
How the academic programme is organised
JSS 1 to JSS 3 follow the Nigerian Basic Education Curriculum. Every student takes twelve subjects, including Basic Science and Technology, Business Studies, a Nigerian language and French. Streaming into sets happens in Mathematics and English only.
Students sit continuous assessments twice a term and a terminal examination in each subject. JSS 3 candidates take the Basic Education Certificate Examination in June, alongside our internal placement test that determines senior pathway eligibility.
Junior school runs a supervised study hour from 2:00pm to 3:00pm each weekday.
